What does it take to create an award-winning image – Online workshop. Monday 13th September, 7pm

In this live workshop via Zoom you will learn from Gary Hill, multi-award-winning, 2x Photographer of the Year and Judge for multiple competitions and qualifications, what it takes to be an award winner.

  • What judges look for in an image
  • How images are marked
  • What will lose you marks
  • Live assessment of images – what was done right and what could be improved
  • Discussion around some of Gary’s award-winning images – what set them apart from the rest
  • Each attendee of the workshop will be asked to submit an image to be critiqued and scored

If you cannot attend live, or need to leave early, the whole thing will be recorded and sent out afterwards so that you can watch and re-watch as many times as you want to!

This workshop will be incredibly useful to anyone who is thinking about submitting images for qualification, entering monthly image competitions or simply those who want to perfect and improve their work. Suitable for all genres, location and studio shooters, natural and studio light.
